EXO’s D.O wrote the lyrics to the 2 songs on his first solo album, the title track “Rose” and the non-title track “I’m Fine.”
D.O’s first-ever solo album Empathy consisted of a total of 8 tracks. And of them, D.O personally wrote the lyrics for the two tracks, raising expectations.
“Rose” is an acoustic folk song with a light guitar rhythm. The lyrics, written by D.O, tells a sweet love story, from the heart-fluttering moments of falling in love to plucking up the courage to ask out that girl.
In addition, D.O wrote about how he would ask himself how he’s doing, just like how people ask each other by writing the song, “I’m Fine.” The jazzy R&B guitar sound and D.O’s calm and warm voice will create perfect harmony, fascinating the listeners’ ears.
Previously, D.O released the solo single “That’s Okay” through SM Station in 2019. He wrote the lyrics himself and gave comfort to the people with his sincere message of consolation.
