Jo In Sung & Kim Yoon Seok’s Upcoming film ‘Escape from Mogadishu’ Unveiled a Full Behind-the-Scenes

The movie Escape from Mogadishu, which will be released on July 28th, has unveiled a full behind-the-scenes video.

Escape from Mogadishu is a film based on actual events, set during the Somali Civil War in 1991. It depicts details of perilous escape attempts made by isolated people stranded during the conflict.

The video has three parts in the format of three short documentary films. First, the part MOTIVE shows what the movie’s story is about. Secondly, MOGADISHU covers all the filming locations. And lastly, ACTORS gives a sneak peek at the casts and their teamwork.

In the first clip, MOTIVE, the casts look back and discuss their first impressions upon reading the script. Koo Kyo Hwan shared, “I can’t wait to watch the movie.” And Kim Yoon Seok remarked, “It is a movie that has all the characters, goals and scenes that I think play a very crucial role in a movie.” The second clip, MOGADISHU, shares how a significant portion of filming took place in Morocco and their four months of journey in Essaouira. Finally, ACTORS includes the ensemble of casts who worked together for the first time.
