M.C The Max’s J.Yoon Passes Away at 38

M.C The Max’s J.Yoon passed away at the age of 38.

On May 13th, label 325 E&C revealed that J.Yoon, a member of the 3-member group M.C The Max, has passed away. However, they didn’t disclose the specific cause of death.

“M.C The Max members and 325 E&C staff are grieving in great sorrow,” the label shared. “We sincerely ask you to pray for the repose of J.Yoon’s soul, and please refrain from writing speculative articles for the bereaved families.”

Meanwhile, J.Yoon made his debut as a member of the band Moon Child in 2002. Upon one of the members leaving, the remaining three members re-grouped as M.C. the MAX. In March, the group released their 20th-anniversary album, CEREMONIA.

We are so sorry to relay such unfortunate and tragic news to you. M.C the MAX J.Yoon left us on May 13th.

At the sudden mournful news, M.C the MAX members, and all 325 E&C staff are grieving with great sorrow.

We are very heartbroken to share the sad news with the fans who gave endless support and love to J.Yoon.

We sincerely ask you to pray for the repose of J.Yoon’s soul, and please refrain from writing speculative articles for the bereaved families.”
