Han Yeri will attend her first Oscar later this month.
According to media outlets, Han Yeri will attend the award ceremony for the 93rd Academy Award, held on the 25th. She received an official invitation as the Best Picture nominee, Minari. Last month, Lee Isaac Chung’s Minari won a total of six Oscar nominations: Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Original Score categories.
Han Yeri will leave for America soon and undergo self-isolation before she hits the red carpet. She will join her fellow Minari actors and Chung to enjoy the feat fully.
The actress recently signed an exclusive contract with Echo Lake Entertainment for her future Hollywood promotions. Her trip will kill two birds with one stone as she attends her first Oscar, all the while outlining her career in the U.S.
Youn Yuh Jung, the first South Korean actress to be nominated for Best Supporting Actress, will also attend the event. However, she won’t be traveling with Han Yeri due to scheduling issues.
