Kim Hee Sun Becomes Charismatic Grim Reaper in the New Webtoon-Adapted Series

Kim Hee Sun may play the lead role in the upcoming series Tomorrow (literal title).

According to media outlets, Kim Hee Sun is positively considering her appearance in the webtoon-adapted series Tomorrow. If she joins the project, the actress will turn into a charismatic grim reaper Goo Ryeon. Last year, Kim Hee Sun performed a spectacular double role in the show Alice.

Tomorrow is a series adaptation from the webtoon of the same name. Like the original work, it will be a fantasy series that travels between reality and the afterlife. The story begins when Choi Joon Woong, an unemployed man, falls into a coma due to an accident. But somehow, his soul gets a job in the crisis management team of Phantasmagoria’s soul management division as the youngest member.

Goo Ryeon is in charge of saving those who think of committing suicide with her team, Lim Ryong Gu and Chi Joon Woong. She is a charismatic leader with a secretive past.

However, the series will be taking a slightly different path from the webtoon.

Tomorrow will start filming by the end of this year and be programmed early next year. Supermoon Pictures, which produced My Strange Hero and Goodbye to Goodbye, will be in charge of production.
