Big Hit cleared the air about BTS’s possible comeback in May.
Yesterday, some media outlets reported that BTS is currently gearing up for its return in May. And today, the agency told Newsen that they “plan to announce artist-related schedules only after everything is confirmed.”
Recently, members have constantly hinted at their comeback in interviews and TV shows. On February 19th, the group hosted V Live broadcast and shared, “The important thing for a singer is to sing well, dance well, release a good album, and communicate with fans. We’ll come back with another track soon.”
Then on March 8th, BTS had an interview with ET Canada. In the interview, they hinted at their comeback. “We are working on new music (as a group), and each member is preparing his solo songs. I think ARMYs can expect a lot from us this year,” they said.
If the group confirms its comeback in the first half of this year, it will be returning to the market in about six months. Previously, BTS released BE (Deluxe Edition) containing the title song “Life Goes On” in November last year. The album dominated domestic and international music charts and won various trophies at the end-of-year music awards.
Meanwhile, BTS won their first Grammy nomination with “Dynamite” and performed solo at the ceremony.
