Netflix movie Night in Paradise is receiving increasing attention, releasing the main teaser filled with Jeju Island’s sceneries and the dark ambiance of the film-noir.
The film illustrates a man who became a target of a gang. As he goes along with a woman at the edge of her life, the story unfolds. Notable in the released clip were Uhm Tae Goo’s silent yet deadly charisma, Jeon Yeo Been’s limitless range in acting, and Cha Seung Won’s staggering presence. The Jeju island’s peaceful scenery contrasts with the quick changes in scenes and the three characters’ painful emotions. The teaser was more than enough to demonstrate director Park Hoon Jung’s style of film-noir.
The peace and calmness of Jeju Island are in contrast to Taegu’s dark fate. Furthermore, the sound of waves ringing at the end of the video reveals the unique mood of Night in Paradise.
As the teaser hints at the actors’ fierce performances and Jeju Island’s sceneries, this will be a refreshing film-noir. Night in Paradise is coming exclusively to Netflix on April 9th.
