“I am the One in the Picture” Go Min Si Admits to Drinking as a Minor

Actress Go Min Si admitted that she is the young female in the photo, which caused controversy over her drinking as a minor in the past.

On the 20th, the actress wrote on Instagram, “It is regretful to make a post related to such an unpleasant affair. I apologize for all the trouble I had with the photo of myself drinking as a minor. I’ll admit it without any denial: I am the one in the photo.”

She then added that the situation would be more clouded to have everything be forgiven just because she was young and immature in the past. “I am also aware of how unspeakably disappointed everyone must be because of this truth.”

Regarding her actions going forward, Go Min Si said she recognizes that her past actions are wrong. She apologized to those who have felt inconvenienced by her despite knowing that words cannot express how sincere she is. “I will make sure to be more mature and walk along the right path,” she stated.

Recently, several photos were posted to an online community exposing Go Min Si for drinking when she was still a minor. She and her friends were at a table, toasting with bottles and glasses of alcohol.

After making her debut back in 2016, the actress made herself known through The Witch, Live, and Sweet Home. She has also been cast on KBS 2TV’s Youth of May and tvN’s Mount Jiri, both of which are set to be aired.
