Makestar has been the talk of the town with its ‘K-drama’ event which invites global fans.
It recently held an OST fundraising project for the JTBC drama She Would Never Know, which is being participated by fans all around the world. The project not only surpassed 100% of the target amount within five hours of its start but also exceeded 200%, proving high popularity amongst global fans.
This OST funding project is not the first. Before She Would Never Know, it previously also released projects for OST albums in tvN’s Start-Up, Stranger 2, and JTBC’s 18 Again. Those were also completed with a lot of attention from both local and global fans.
It is noteworthy that overseas fans continue to pay keen attention to events regarding Korean drama OSTs, as well as K-Pop. “The various projects following K-POP and K-drama are why Makestar has been receiving attention as a platform that leads communication across generations, beyond simple communities,” explained Makestar. They also stated that they will repay everyone’s love with even more special events and projects related to K-Pop and K-drama.
