Treasure’s Web Drama Garners Over 2 Million Views

Treasure’s web drama “It’s Okay, That’s Friendship” (literal title), which became the hottest topic as Treasure’s first acting challenge, surpassed 2 million views in just three days after its release.

According to YG Entertainment, Treasure’s first web drama released through Treasure’s reality content Treasure Map Season 2, reached 2 million views on YouTube in just three days. This figure easily surpasses most clips of terrestrial programs and popular web entertainment programs.

Global fans also showed explosive responses to “It’s Okay, That’s Friendship,” which combines Treasure’s colorful charms, unique storytelling, and members solid performances, and expressed eager hopes for the sequel.

Under YG’s systemic and bold investment, Treasure has made remarkable achievements in their debut year, selling more than 1 million copies with their “THE FIRST STEP” album series. They also proved their global popularity by landing at No. 1 on the “fastest-growing artist” chart and at No. 6 on the “most loved K-pop artists in the world” category released last year by Twitter.

With their self-produced reality content Treasure Map, Treasure has enhanced their familiarity and solidified each members’ individuality, gaining worldwide popularity. Thanks to such heated responses, Treasure Map Season 2 presented an all-time scale with more than 100 cameras installed at the scene.

As this monster rookie group has confirmed their official debut in Japan on March 31, Treasure is also expected to expand their global presence.
