SBS’s The Penthouse 2: War in Life is shaking up the small screens every Friday and Saturday with even more intense stories and rapid plot developments. In the opening of The Penthouse 2, curtains for the Chung Ah Arts Festival were raised after Cheon Seo Jin revived it in 25 years. Bae Ro Na, Ha Eun Byeol, Yoo Jenny, Joo Seok Kyung compete fiercely to win the grand prize of the Chung Ah Arts Festival, which is often referred to as a ‘Free Pass to Seoul National University’s College of Music.’ However, as Cheon Seo Jin is about to announce the grand prize, a girl falls down the stone stairs screaming. The scene goes back and forth between the bloodstained girl and the people from the Hera club, shocked by witnessing her. Following Min Seol Ah’s crash at the Hera Palace in the opening of the first season and Shim Su Ryeon who witnessed it, the scene raises curiosities about whose tragic fate will be shown this time.
The return of Oh Yoon Hee
Oh Yoon Hee surprises viewers in the first episode as she turning herself in at the police station after having a fierce confrontation with Logan Lee and falling apart. Logan Lee forged the will of the steward Yang to point out the culprit of the ‘Shim Su Ryeon murder case’ as Joo Dan Tae and as he was cornered, Joo Dan Tae made the steward into a criminal as Oh Yoon Hee was ultimately cleared of the charge. Oh Yoon Hee, who later moved to the U.S. with her daughter Bae Ro Na, appears at the engagement ceremony of Cheon Seo Jin and Joo Dan Tae on a helicopter with Ha Yoon Cheol, whom Joo Dan Tae ordered people to kill. The spark of revenge Oh Yoon Hee managed to light
Oh Yoon Hee and Ha Yoon Cheol get married out of convenience to take revenge on Cheon Seo Jin and Joo Dan Tae, as they move into house 4502 of Hera Palace. Revealed as the CEO of John Bio company, Ha Yoon Cheol succeeds in rejoining the Hera Club by making Kang Ma Ri, Lee Kyu Jin, and Go Sang Ah to be on his side with a donation of 5 billion won to Hera Palace. Meanwhile, Oh Yoon Hee lights a flame of revenge as she makes a surprise appearance as a shadow singer secretly administered by Cheon Seo Jin, whose throat condition deteriorated. This raises expectations for how Oh Yoon Hee has appeared as Cheon Seo Jin’s shadow singer, and how Oh Yoon Hee will use her cards now that she has her hands on Cheon Seo Jin’s biggest weakness.
