Weeekly Confirms Their Comeback in March

Weeekly will be joining the March comeback battle.

According to SPOTVNEWS, Weeekly will release a new album in March and begin their full-fledged promotions.

Weekly debuted last year and quickly earned the title “super rookie” for their lively energy and bright and lovely charms. And by the end of last year, the group swept six new artist of the year awards, including the 2020 MMA (Melon Music Awards) and the 2020 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards).

With this new comeback in about five months, Weeekly will continue to solidify their position as “super rookie.”

In particular, the new title song is expected to be composed by “K-pop hitmaker” Ryan Jhun. Jhun’s has showed off his explosive synergy through collaboration with female singers such as Oh My Girl’s “Dolphin”, YooA’s debut song “Bon Voyage,” and IU’s “Celebrity,” achieving all-kills in both domestic and overseas music charts.

Naturally, attention is now focusing on what his new collaboration with Weeekly will create.

Meanwhile, Weeekly is in the midst of last-minute preparations for their new album to be released next month. Member Jihan has been selected a the new MC of SBS’s music show The Show is currently gearing up for her MC debut on March 2.
