Blackpink’s Lisa has been selected as a guest judge at the French fashion awards ceremony Andam Fashion Award.
On Feb 16 (local time), Business of Fashion reported that Blackpink’s Lisa has been named the guest member (jury) alongside CELINE’s creative director Phoebe Phil and Pyer Moss’s designer Kerby Jean-Raymond at the Andam Fashion Award organized by ANDAM (France’s Association Nationale pour le Développement des Arts de la Mode).
At this year’s ceremony, Cédric Charbit, CEO of Balenciaga and member of Kering’s executive committee, has been chosen as the new designated mentor. Charbit shared that he selected the panels to reflect on the new era’s creativity and diversity.
According to Fashion Network, as in previous editions, ANDAM 2020 will award four prizes: the grand prize (250,000 euros); the Pierre Bergé prize, which replaces the creative label prize (100,000 euros); the fashion accessories prize (50,000 euros); and the innovation prize (50,000 euros).
A total of 14 international personalities, including Lisa, french actress Lou Doillon, and Chinese singer Li Yuchun (Chris Lee), will take part in the 31st edition of ANDAM to share their creative and entrepreneurial vision.
Meanwhile, the Andam Fashion Awards is considered a gateway for young designers on their path to Paris Fashion Week, one of the world’s top four fashion shows.
