Jung Il Woo and Sandara Park showed off their 13 years of true friendship.
On the 29th, Jung Il Woo uploaded on his private YouTube channel ‘1DAY1LWOO’ a second part to the collaboration video with Sandara Park. Jung Il Woo prepared Filipino cuisines for his 13-year-long best friend, and the wholesome conversation between the two made viewers smile. He studied to prepare Sandra Park with Beef Kaldereta, Seafood Sinigang, and Garlic Rice. Sandara Park was so touched as she said, “Sinigang is my favorite food. I wouldn’t eat if I didn’t have this on the table.” However, as Jung Il Woo has never been to the Philippines, he was faced with challenges and eventually failed to cook Sinigang.
Whilst cooking, the two also reminisced about their first meeting 13 years ago. They first met from the drama The Return of Iljimae and became friends since then. Sandara Park stated that their first meeting was in Daema Island, and they were isolated. “When we started to find Japanese lunch boxes greasy, I gave you the red pepper paste. We started with red pepper paste,” she said.
As the two shared their true feelings toward each other, the warmth was felt through the screens. Jung Il Woo said that he was grateful when Sandara Park came to see his play. “I really felt that you were a real one. Your loyalty is the best,” he praised her. Jung Il Woo also revealed that he felt a “real friendship” with Sandara Park while filming this time too. “The concept of the shoot was dating, but our hearts weren’t fluttered. That’s when I felt that we were actually friends,” Jung Il Woo said. To this, Sandara Park exclaimed, “If we were to be attracted to each other, it would have happened sooner!”
Meanwhile, fans are also enthusiastically supporting the two’s friendship shown in the YouTube collaboration.
