Attention is focusing on whether MBC producer Kim Tae Hoo will join hands with Netflix to launch a new entertainment program.
Earlier today, a media outlet reported that producer Kim will film the new Netflix original entertainment show Mukbo and Teolbo (literal title) with Rain and Noh Hong Chul.
In response, both MBC and Netflix stated that “nothing has been confirmed yet.”
However, the overall plot of the content released in the report is quite specific. According to the report, this 10-part show will be a kind of a road trip variety show where Rain and Noh Hong Chul travel all over the country on a bike. Kim Tae Hoo will act as a chief producer while Jang Woo Sung, who co-directs How Do You Play? with Kim, will be put in the position of the main director.
The most notable fact about this news is that Kim, who is a producer of a network, will work on a program for an OTT platform. As Netflix original programs are only serviced through Netflix, directors or producers, who are not affiliated with networks, mostly helmed the series.
