LOONA and THE BOYZ Won The Next Generation Awards in ‘2021 GDA’

LOONA and THE BOYZ have won the Next Generation Awards.

The 35th Golden Disc Awards with CURAPROX was held on the 9th, with Lee Seung Gi and actress Park So Dam as the hosts of the digital music category.

As LOONA was awarded the Next Generation Award, the group made their acceptance speech, “This is our first time to be on stage at the GDA since our debut. We’d like to thank the staff and our company for giving us such an opportunity.”

They continued, “Thanks to everyone, we were able to improve with each of our activities. LOONA will be a group that constantly improves, even in this year. This is an honor, and we will repay our fans with better performances and results this year.” The group also mentioned Haseul, saying, “We miss you so much and are waiting for you. We hope you can come back soon. We love our members and fans very much.”

THE BOYZ also expressed their gratitude as it is their first time appearing on the GDA. They thanked their agency and staff who made it possible for them to shine on stage. “THE BOYZ will always work hard. We appreciate our fans who love us, and are the reason for THE BOYZ’s existence,” they said.

The 35th Golden Disc Awards with CURAPROX has been made vibrant with the appearance of Lee Seung Gi, ITZY, Noeul, NU’EST, THE BOYZ, MAMAMOO, MONSTA X, IU, OH MY GIRL, LOONA, and Changmo. Among them, actor Lee Min Ho has been selected to present the honorable grand prize.
