Lee Juck’s song for Pixar’s Soul has taken off its veil.

According to Walt Disney Korea, the end credits song for Soul was sung by Lee Juck and the title of the song is “Comma (with Yun Seok Chul).” Instead of the Korean cover of the original song, Lee Juck personally wrote and composed his own song after getting inspiration from the film.

“There was this one scene that was just so powerful. After seeing that, I thought, ‘where are we all from and where are we going’ and came up with the title ‘Comma,’ which means ‘let’s take a break before we go,'” Lee Juck shared.

The 29-second teaser shows the perfect harmony between Lee Juck’s appealing voice with pianist Yun Seok Chul’s sweet piano melody. The echoing lyrics “Have you ever thought about where the wind comes from? When was the last time you watched the leaves fall?” add to the special meanings the song has, raising expectations.

Soul follows a jazz pianist’s journey as he discovers the true meaning of having a soul. Pixar veteran Pete Docter is the credited co-director, alongside One Night in Miami playwright Kemp Powers.
