Space Sweepers will finally take off its veil on Netflix on February 5.

According to Netflix, Space Sweepers will be released simultaneously in more than 190 countries around the world through Netflix on February 5.

Space Sweepers, set in the year 2092, is about the crew of space junk collector ship The Victory jumping into a dangerous deal after discovering a humanoid robot named Dorothy that’s known to be a weapon of mass destruction. Korea’s first-ever space SF blockbuster Space Sweepers dropped a new poster and a teaser video along with the confirmation of the release date today, raising the expectations through the roof.

The newly released poster shows the crew of The Victory standing majestically above the garbage pile. From Captain Jang (Kim Tae Ri), who is the anchor and the captain of The Victory and Tae Ho (Song Joong Ki), the pilot who only cares about money to engineer Tiger Park (Jin Seon Kyu), who seems macho but is actually a sweet guy, and Robot Eobdong (Yoo Hae Jin), a charming chatterbox – they are the crew of The Victory.

The teaser video also grabs the attention by capturing the risky deal the crew gets into. Will The Victory crew be able to make a big buck by selling mass destruction weapons, Dorothy?
