Candidates for the 2020 KBS Entertainment Awards‘ grand prize have been revealed to be Lee Kyung Kyu, Kim Sook, Kim Jong Min, the Sam Hammington Family, and Jun Hyun Moo.
On the night of December 24th, a fierce competition between 5 candidates is expected for this year’s grand prize.
The father figure of the entertainment industry, Lee Kyung Kyu, showed a strong presence as a candidate by featuring in Dogs Are Incredible and Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant, both of which were nominated for the “Best Program Award.”
Kim Sook is also a strong competitor for the award as she actively works with KBS Entertainment programs such as Battle Trip, War of Villains, Boss in the Mirror, Problem Child in House, and Book You Love (working translation).
As 2 Days & 1 Night (1D2N)‘s original member for 10 years, Kim Jong Min also raised his name on the candidates’ list after newly taking on the role of an MC in Idol on Quiz.
The winner of the 2019 KBS Entertainment Awards‘ triple crown, The Return of Superman‘s Sam Hammington, “WillBengers” Family is also after being awarded the grand prize for two consecutive years.
Lastly, Jun Hyun Moo, a veteran MC with solid hosting skills and cleverness, once again rises as a candidate and draws attention as KBS is where he began his career.
The winner of the 2020 KBS Entertainment Awards‘ grand trophy is to be revealed on KBS2 on December 24th at 8.30 p.m. KST.
