The Great Escape and The Genius director Jung Jong Yeon will present TVING’s first original content Girls’ High School Mystery Club (literal title).
TVING’s first original content Girls’ High School Mystery Club is about five cast members becoming members of the mystery club to reveal the truth of the mysterious incident at school. Announcer Park Ji Yoon, comedian Jang Do Yeon, emcee Jaejae, singer BIBI and IZ* ONE’s Choi Yena have been cast. As a team, they will be using their brains, wit, perseverance, physical strength, and all five senses to dig out the truth.
In particular, the fact that Girls’ High School Mystery Club is TVING’s first original content and the new project by The Great Escape and The Genius director Jung Jong Yeon is noteworthy.
Director Jang said, “I am preparing with excitement for a new challenge with the OTT platform. You can say that Girls’ High School Mystery Club is an extension of the adventure genre, just like The Great Escape series. We are looking forward to women’s reasoning skills and special sensibility that will be unfolded in a girls’ high school.”
Meanwhile, TVING is currently preparing to launch a joint venture with JTBC after physical division from CJ ENM on October 1. TVING’s first original content Girls’ High School Mystery Club will be released exclusively on TVING in late January 2021.
