UP10TION’s Xiao has been confirmed with COVID-19.
On December 15th T.O.P Media claimed that after staying in a designated facility, Bitto and Kogyeol were discharged from the hospital as health authorities instructed on December 13th and 14th, respectively.
For their post-quarantine examination Bitto was tested negative but Kogyeol, positive. Their agency explained that though health authorities said daily activities are allowed for Kogyeol as he is asymptomatic and non-transmitting, he will be going in an extended self-quarantine and be examined again for safety.
T.O.P Media added, “as Kuhn, Sunyoul, Gyujin, Hwanhee and Xiao completed their self-isolation on the 14th, they went through additional examinations.” The company then explained that on December 15th, Kuhn, Sunyoul, Gyujin and Hwanhee were tested negative and Xiao was tested positive.
Xiao is told to have had no contact with others during his quarantine period and is asymptomatic. He plans to follow the health authorities’ instructions to get tested again.
