Han Yeri and Youn Yuh Jung were nominated for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, respectively, at the IFJA Awards (Indiana Film Journalists Association Award).

According to the nomination list announced by the Indiana Film Journalists Association, Han Yeri and Youn Yuh Jung were each nominated for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress for their performances in Minari. Last year, Parasite won the Best Foreign Language Film and Best Director Awards.

There are not the only nominations that Minari won this year. It was also nominated for the Best Film, Best Original Screenplay, Best Director, Best Actor (Steven Yeun), Best Supporting Actor (Alan Kim), Nest Ensemble Acting, Best Music Score (Emile Mosseri), and Breakout of the Year (Alan Kim).

Recently, Minari saw a green light on its journey to Oscars when it won the Best Supporting Actress Award (Youn Yuh Jung) and the Best Music Score at the 2020 2020 Boston Society of Film Critics Awards. As Youn Yuh Jung is considered a strong candidate for the Oscars’ Best Supporting Actress Award, expectations are high whether she will add the IFJA award to her career.
