Stray Kids, ATEEZ and THE BOYZ heralded their showdown in Mnet’s boyband survival music show Kingdom with an intense performance.
At the 2020 MAMA, Stray Kids, ATEEZ and THE BOYZ together decorated a stage presented under the theme of “Triangular Fight.” One member from each group got on stage and showed off their powerful moves with a crown in the center.
And by the end of their performance, a coming soon trailer for Kingdom was released, drawing keen attention from fans.
According to a media outlet, Stray Kids and ATEEZ recently confirmed their appearance for the show and practiced the performance. Kingdom is a boyband version of Queendom, which aired in August last year.
Earlier this year, Mnet launched a program titled Road to Kingdom, a prequel of Kingdom, sparking a buzz within the K-pop idol fandom. THE BOYZ, the final winner of Road to Kingdom, will automatically compete to take the crown.
Mnet’s official confirmed, “THE BOYZ, ATEEZ, and Stray Kids will participate in Mnet’s Kingdom. The rest of the lineup is still under discussion.”
Kingdom is currently being prepared with a goal to premiere in the first half of 2021.
