Wanna One’s Lai Kuanlin is being criticized by Chinese netizens.
On the morning of Nov 24, Lai Kuanlin wrote an apology on his Weibo account, “I’m sorry. As a public figure, I didn’t put a lid on my behaviors and did something wrong. I will accept all your scoldings and reflect on myself and never do the same sorts again.”

Earlier, Lai Kuanlin was spotted spitting while smoking on the streets by Chinese netizens. They started to share the clips on Weibo, which eventually sparked a controversy.
Lai Kuanlin appeared as a Cube trainee on Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 2, which aired in 2017, and made it into the final debut group, Wanna One. Later, when the group disbanded, he was embroiled in a contract dispute with his agency. Last year, he starred in a Chinese drama, A Little Thing Called First Love.
