The movie Festival has confirmed its release in December.

Triple Pictures announced the release of the film Festival and dropped the launching posters and launching trailer. Festival is a well-made drama that follows an unknown MC named Kyung Man, who needs to host parties in order to pay for his father’s funeral. The film took home 4 awards from the 24th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival – Best Korean Fantastic Film, Fantastic Best Actor, Fantastic Best Audience Award and Distribution Award.

Ha Joon, who showed solid performances in various works such as the film The Outlaws, and dramas Black Dog and Missing: The Other Side, took on the role of Kyung Man, who needs to smile at parties to properly say goodbye to his own father. Rookie actress So Ju Yeon, who is building filmography by going back and forth between the big and small screens, played Kyung Mi, who is keeping her father’s funeral alone.

The two launching posters and the launching trailer of Festival stimulate curiosity with Kyung Man’s sorrowful face, which contradicts the title “Festival.”

The trailer shows the long-take scene of actor Ha Joon playing the role of Kyung-man without editing, presenting an overwhelming sense of immersion. From the head of a company who is booking Kyung Man his party events, the son who is preparing for his father’s 80th birthday, the employee who visited the funeral to Kyung Mi, who is waiting for her older brother, the conversations of various characters fully describe the ironic situation of Kyung Man, who has to head for the party on the saddest day.
