On August 13, Hongbin held a personal broadcast and said, “I have to join the army on August 18.
Earlier on August 7, Hongbin announced his leave from his team VIXX. At the time, Jellyfish Entertainment wrote, “Hongbin has announced his intention to leave the team after 7 years. After careful discussion with the other VIXX members and Hongbin, we decided to respect his decision and let him leave the group.”
Hong Bin, who is known to be attending Baekseok University graduate school, recently submitted a leave of absence to focus on his Twitch activities. However, as soon as he submitted the form, notice of enlistment was sent for him.
Meanwhile, Hongbin made his debut as a member of VIXX in 2012. Since then, he continued his activities as an idol and an actor, appearing on Moorim School, Witch’s Love, and The Smile Has Left Your Eyes.
