Ahn Bo Hyun will star in a new Netflix series Nemesis (working title).
According to a media outlet, Ahn Bo Hyun will play the role of a detective in a new Netflix series Nemesis.
Ahn Bo Hyun will play Jeon Pil Do, a detective who used to be a promising national judo player. He seems a bit grumpy, but is actually a friendly man who can’t stand the sight of a poor man. He used to be an aspiring athlete, but hit the bottom of his life due to a certain accident and became a detective for revenge.
Nemesis is about a woman who goes undercover as a detective under the orders of an organized crime gang and a veteran detective who has to arrest her. It’s a new kind of undercover story, and it will present both noir and romance genres.
On top of that, the confrontation between a gang and the team in the regional investigation unit dedicated only to these gangs will introduce an exciting story.
Han So Hee plays Seo Jin Won, a woman who joins a gang to avenge her father’s death then goes undercover as a cop, while Park Hee Soon will play the role of Choi Moo Jin, the crime boss. The series was originally known as Undercover Girl.
Nemesis will hold a table read this month and start filming next month.
