Uhm Jung Hwa and Park Sung Woong of Okay! Madam showed off their perfect chemistry.
The online press conference of the movie Okay! Madam was broadcast live on the morning of July 13. Director Lee Chul Ha, actors Uhm Jung Hwa, Park Sung Woong, Lee Sang Yoon, Bae Jung Nam, and Lee Sun Bin attended the event.
In the film, Uhm Jung Hwa, who plays Mi Young, the owner of a snack bar, and Park Sung Woong, who plays Suk Hwan, an immature husband of Mi Young, will portray the read “world of the married.”
When asked about playing a couple, Park Sung Woong said, “Every moment was fun,” to which, Uhm Jung Hwa replied, “He’s so cute that I could eat him right up. There were a lot of new sides to him. He’s usually very lovely,”
Park Sung Woong also added, “Suk Hwan is all about Mi Young. And I didn’t have to act it. She is lovely both inside and outside.”
“In ‘The Dude In Me’ and ‘A Violent Prosecutor,’ I mostly acted alone, but in this movie, I got to work with Uhm Jung Hwa a lot, and it really felt like a team,” he said. “It was comfortable because she accepted me so well. I didn’t act. At some point, I was already whining to her.”
Uhm Jung Hwa then expressed her joy in working in an action film. She mentioned, “I really wanted to do an action movie, and I was thrilled to finally get an offer. Also, the script was already so fun that I really wanted to try it.”
Okay! Madam is a special action comedy in which a couple caught up in a plane hijacking incident on their first overseas trip go on a rescue mission to save their family using their hidden strengths.
