MBC is currently deliberating about the possibility of filming the 2020 Chuseok Special of Idol Star Athletics Championships.
On July 8th, various online communities reported that Idol Star Athletics Championships would be held without fans. Multiple idol fandoms voiced their opposition to having audience members in an indoor sports competition show.
In response to this, an MBC representative said, “We are discussing whether or not we will go ahead with filming, and we are talking about possible measures we can take if we do choose to hold the show.”
MBC’s Idol Star Athletics Championships is a show where idols compete in sports events.
