Eric, Yoo In Na & Lim Ju Hwan to Star Together in New Drama

MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday mini-series The Spy Who Loved Me (literal translation) has confirmed its broadcast in October and cast three actors Eric, Yoo In Na, and Lim Ju Hwan, heralding a birth of a thrilling romantic spy drama.

The Spy Who Loved Me is a thrilling secret romantic comedy drama about a woman who got embroiled in a spy war with her two secretive husbands. A fantastic spy war between three men and women, who can never be together, will bring laughter and excitement.

In particular, attention is focused on the fact that it is the first drama by writer Lee Ji Man, who produced big hit movies such as The Man Standing Next, Forbidden Dream, and The Age of Shadows.

First, Eric will play Jeon Ji Hoon, the first husband of Kang Ah Reum (Yoo In Na) and Interpol’s secret agent. His real identity is a spy who disguises himself as a travel writer fully equipped with the captivating charm. He eventually divorced Ah Reum, whom he met like a fate, but reunited her with an unexpected incident.

Yoo In Na plays Kang Ah Reum, a wedding dress designer who married two men with secrets. She gets involved in an unexpected spy war after meeting her ex-husband Jeon Ji Hoon, a secret agent, and her current husband, Derek Hyun (Lim Ju Hwan), an industrial spy. She will show a variety of charms ranging from her unique cheerful and lovely side to girl crush charm.

Lim Ju Hwan will play Derek Hyun, Kang Ah Reum’s romantic husband, and cool-headed industrial spy. He has a smart brain and a gentle smile, but behind him lies a strong desire to win and coolness. Derek, disguised as a diplomatic official, is a sweet husband to Kang Ah Reum, but he does not hesitate to do anything for his business. With the appearance of Jeon Ji Hoon, the world he has built perfectly begins to crumble.

MBC’s new drama The Spy Who Loved Me will first air in October.
