Stray Kids Express Their Feelings about Their First Full-Length Album

Stray Kids released their first full-length album GO LIVE and the title track “God’s Menu.”

Even before its official release on June 17, the number of pre-orders surpassed 200,000 copies, giving the green light to the early album sales. Starting with Mnet’s M Countdown on June 18, Stray Kids, who will decorate the first week of their comeback, unveiled their feelings through their agency JYP Entertainment.

Q1. Please introduce the new album GO LIVE.

Bang Chan: This album offers a glimpse into the various challenges of Stray Kids.

Changbin: Everyone faces an unavoidable hardships at some point, and we wanted to send you a message to enjoy them and to keep moving forward.

Han: This album shows our broader musical spectrum.

 

Q2. I heard that StrayKids gave a lot of opinions while preparing for this album.

Bang Chan: In fact, there was a different title track at first, but after finishing “God’s Menu,” I played it to members, and there were many opinions that it seemed to fit Stray Kids more. So we decided to turn over the existing plan and selected “God’s Menu” as the title track.

 

Q3. I think the fact that it is your first full-length album gives you more meaning.

Seungmin: It’s our first full-length album in two years since our debut, so I felt a lot of pressure while working on it. But all of us got together and thought a lot about how to show a better side of us, and based on this, we prepared step by step.

 

Q4. Except for the title track, which song are you most attached to?

Bang Chan: Easy

Lee Know, Felix, Seungmin, I.N.: Blueprint

Changbin, Hyunjin: Haven

Han: Daily Life

Q5. What does Stray Kids want to hear the most with this album?

Bang Chan: Actually, I’m just grateful for the fact that many people listen to our music.

Seungmin: I’d like to hear a compliment like “Stray Kids have grown further.”

 

Q6. What are the most “Stray Kids-like” images?

Seungmin: When all eight members are performing passionately on stage. The music itself makes us feel happy, so I think it looks the most natural when we’re all on stage together.

 

Q7. Is there anything you want to share with your fans?

Lee Know: I’m constantly working out. I especially care about stretching these days.

Felix: I recently started cooking!

I.N: I’m working out with Changbin to continue our activities healthier and more awesome.

 

Q8. What is your goal for 2020?

Lee Know: It’s to meet more fans on a bigger stage. We want to show you our performance and energy!
