IU Donates $81,615 for Children’s Day in Korea

IU donated about $81,615 for Children’s Day in Korea.

On May 4th, it was reported that IU gave another donation to Green Umbrella Child Fund to celebrate Children’s Day. The charitable donation will be used to provide education to children of low-income families and children living with grandparents.

IU formed a relationship with Green Umbrella Child Fund back in 2015 and has been continuously giving donations every year since then. She has made a total of 11 donations in the past 5 years totaling up to about $669,250.

IU has been helping communities out since her debut, and she was also picked as one of 30 people on Forbes’ list of ‘Asia’s 2019 Heroes of Philanthropy’ last year.
