According to TV Report, Jang Hanna will release her new song “RUNNAWAY,” which she wrote and composed herself, on May 1 and make her official debut in the K-POP scene. Producer The Proof participated in the composition and arrangement of the song, further enhancing the overall quality.

“RUNNAWAY” is an electronic pop based on hip-hop and R&B sounds.

Earlier, Jang Hanna caught the attention with her soulful voice when she appeared on K-pop Star 3 as a contestant, and was later scouted to YG Entertainment.

However, as the report of her solo debut came out, YG Entertainment is under fire for its poor management. During the 6 years she stayed in company, she never got to produce her own song and only participated in the featuring of JinuSean‘s “TELL ME ONE MORE TIME.“

The public is saying that this is evidence that YG Entertainment clearly doesn’t know how to manage its trainees. As it appears that what Jang Hanna needed to do to make her own music was to leave the company, people are upset at her wasted potential.
