SBS’s ‘Good Casting’ Is Off to a Great Start, Hitting Double Digit Ratings with Its First Episode

The first episode of SBS’s Good Casting reached as high as 14.3 percent viewer ratings with its thrilling development.

According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of Good Casting recorded nationwide averages of 9.5 and 12.3 percent viewer ratings, beating the highest ratings set by the previous drama, Nobody Knows (11.4 percent). Also, it peaked as high as 14.3 percent viewer ratings, drawing attention.

During the episode, NIS agents Baek Chan Mi (Choi Kang Hee), Lim Ye Eun (Yoo In Young), and Hwang Mi Soo (Kim Ji Young) were seen going undercover to catch Michael Lee, an international industrial spy who killed their fellow agents.

Choi Kang Hee, Yoo In Young, and Kim Ji Young caught the eye with their passionate performances. Each of them clearly showed their characters, enlivening the overall story. Also, as Lee Sang Yeob and Jun heralded their first appearances in the next episode, raising the curiosity.

Especially the ending scene where the three actors appeared in front of Ilkwang Hitech, the company they were ordered to go undercover, with their majestic walking, giving a thrilling sensation.

SBS’s Good Casting airs every Monday and Tuesday at 9:40 p.m. KST.
