Winner’s leader Kang Seung Yoon shared how hate comments have affected him.
Kang Seung Yoon appeared as a guest on KBS Cool FM’s Volume Up on April 25th to connect with the listeners.
The DJ asked, “Your fans get comforted by listening to your music. When do you get comforted?” And Kang Seung Yoon answered, “I get comforted a lot by my fans too.”
He continued to share, “I sometimes feel that kind of pleasure. There are hate comments on my social media or articles about me saying that my songs are bad. But when I see that those responses have disappeared during my next album, I feel pleasure and feel comforted. I feel a sense of achievement when I’ve changed these people’s minds, and that comforts me a lot. So in a sense, I want to thank the people who write hate comments.”
The DJ told him, “It looks like you have a big heart.” And Kang Seung Yoon replied, “But at the time, it hurts me.” And the two agreed by saying, “People shouldn’t write hate comments.”
