Actor Chae Soo Bin will join Lee Kwang Soo �and Kang Ha Neul for The Pirates 2 (working title).
According to multiple sources, Chae Soo Bin has decided to join The Pirates 2 and is talking details. Earlier, it has been reported that actors Lee Kwang Soo and Kang Ha Neul confirmed their appearances, raising expectations.
The Pirates, starring Kim Nam Gil, Son Ye Jin and Yoo Hae Jin, made a box office hit, attracting a total of 8,666,046 viewers. The sequel, The Pirates 2, initially announced that the same director and actors were joining and that the official filming will start last June. But due to schedule conflicts, Kim Nam Gil and Son Ye Jin dropped out, which caused director Lee Suk Hoon, who has been long waiting, also left the production team.
But with “Asia Prince” Lee Kwang Soo and Kang Ha Neul join, The Pirates 2 restart of the project has begun. Top actors, including Kwon Sang Woo and Han Hyo Joo, also joined the team, drawing the attention of the prospective viewers.
While maintaining the same setting of The Pirates, The Pirates 2 will showcase completely different characters and stories. The official filming will start in July.
