Peninsula, the much expected sequel to Train to Busan (2016), unveiled the first trailer video at noon on April 2 KST.
The released trailer of Peninsula starts with the scenes showing the Korean Peninsula, which has totally been ruined in the four years since the nationwide zombie outbreak in Train to Busan. It has raised the public anticipation of the movie with several speedy and spectacular action scenes including a car chase sequence.
Peninsula is an action blockbuster, directed by Yeon Sang Ho as well as Train to Busan, about the few survivors isolated in a devastated city and their last fight against the numerous zombies. Starring Gang Dong Won and Lee Jung Hyun, the film depicts the life-and-death struggle of the two main characters against both the faster zombies and some groups of the savage humans. Peninsula is set to premiere this summer in Korea and the major foreign countries.
