BIG BANG has renewed their contract with YG Entertainment for the third time (following 2011 and 2015) and are planning to begin their activities once again real soon.
YG Entertainment announced on March 11th, that they had signed an exclusive contract with members of BIG BANG (G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P., and Daesung). The third time renewal of their contract with the label will total up to 20 years spent with them, including their trainee period.
The group has paved the way for many K-Pop groups, and have changed the trends of Korean pop culture with their hit music that has been loved by people regardless of their gender and generations. They’ve set records, swept charts and awards with their power of music, and has been the leader of ‘self-produced albums’. Just by looking at their invitation from the biggest music festival in the US, Coachella, we can really feel the strength of their global presence.
The boys are now planning on preparing new music for their comeback this year, so get ready, because we definitely know BIG BANG doesn’t disappoint!
