Kim So Yeon shared candid details about her relationship with husband Lee Sang Woo during an appearance on the YouTube channel “Zzanbro” hosted by Shin Dong Yeob, alongside her A Virtuous Business co-stars Kim Sung Ryoung and Yeon Woo Jin.
During the conversation, Kim So Yeon recalled filming a kiss scene with Lee Sang Woo just as their relationship was beginning to blossom. “It was a full shot, and I really gave it my all,” she said, laughing. “The shoot was at dawn, but I felt so energized and wide awake.”
When asked how they handle each other’s romantic scenes as an actor couple, Kim revealed that Lee Sang Woo was the first to shoot a kiss scene after they got married. “His eyes looked so warm, and I couldn’t help but feel jealous,” she admitted. However, when she voiced her feelings, Lee Sang Woo brushed it off, saying, “This is just work.”
Kim then recalled her intense on-screen kisses with Um Ki Joon in The Penthouse. “After watching those scenes, he told me, ‘Now I understand how you felt.'”
The couple eventually came to an agreement: whenever a kiss or intimate scene was scheduled to air, the other would be informed in advance. “We decided that one of us would just stay in another room during those moments,” Kim explained.
Kim also admitted that she accidentally stumbled upon Lee Sang Woo’s passionate bed scene through viral clips circulating online. “I tried not to watch it, but it was everywhere,” she laughed. “Rather than feeling jealous, I thought he looked so cool. It was impressive how well he’s taken care of himself at his age—really admirable.”
