NewJeans and G-Dragon were among the stars congratulating 2NE1 on their concert comeback.

2NE1’s highly anticipated “2024 2NE1 Concert Welcome Back in Seoul” kicked off on the 4th at the Olympic Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The legendary group delivered an electrifying performance with over 20 songs, including fan favorites like “Fire,” “Can’t Nobody,” “Falling in Love,” “I Don’t Care,” “Ugly,” “Come Back Home,” and “I Am the Best.”

During the event, a series of congratulatory videos from top artists like IU, NewJeans, IVE, TWICE, BabyMonster, aespa, Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, BoyNextDoor, Zico, and Pharrell Williams were shown, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

NewJeans expressed their excitement, saying, “It’s been a long time since 2NE1 have held a concert. Celebrating their 15th anniversary, they’re returning to the stage for the first time in 10 years. The name ‘Welcome Back’ reflects that they’ve returned. We hope to see them ‘welcomed back’ across Asia on tour. We’re so excited and congratulate them on the concert from the bottom of our hearts.”

The crowd erupted in cheers when G-Dragon appeared on screen. After clapping several times, he kept it short and sweet with a simple “Congrats,” followed by a playful finger heart that brought smiles to the audience.

Celebrities spotted attending the concert included dancers Aiki and Harimu, with both dressed in outfits inspired by 2NE1’s iconic “Fire” stage looks. Harimu particularly caught attention by mimicking Sandara Park’s famous “palm tree hairstyle.”

The concert continued on the 5th and 6th, with BabyMonster performing a special stage. On the 6th, members of NewJeans were seen in the audience, enjoying the show. Following their Seoul stop, 2NE1 will embark on an Asia tour with 15 performances across nine cities, including Manila, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, and Taipei.
