BTS members V and Jungkook have shared updates on their current activities, much to the delight of their fans.
V was recently spotted participating in the Ulchi Exercise, a nationwide emergency preparedness drill in South Korea. On August 26th, the Ministry of Unification’s UNITV channel released a video titled “Ministry of Unification Conducts 2024 Ulchi Exercise,” detailing the training that took place from August 19th to 22nd to assess national emergency response capabilities.
In the footage, V can be seen participating in the exercise, wearing military fatigues and posing with his fellow soldiers. The images of V, clearly a standout among his comrades, quickly caught the attention of fans. They have been sending their support to V and other soldiers, cheering them on as they fulfill their military duties.

V enlisted as an active-duty soldier in December last year and is currently serving in the SDT (Special Duty Team) under the 2nd Corps Command in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. Recently, he has been making headlines for his newly “bulked-up” physique, showcasing his dedication to fitness.
Meanwhile, Jungkook also reached out to fans to express his gratitude on his birthday. On September 1st, Jungkook took to the fan communication platform Weverse to thank his fans, saying, “Thank you, ARMY, for the birthday wishes.” He added, “I will make sure to complete my remaining military service well. I hope ARMY are doing well too!” Jungkook, born on September 1st, 1997, warmed hearts by remembering to thank his fans on his special day.
Jungkook enlisted alongside fellow member Jimin in December last year at the 5th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.
BTS is scheduled for all members to complete their military service by June 2025.
