Stealer: The Treasure Keeper star Joo Won teamed up with Allure Korea.
The actor described his new drama, Stealer: The Treasure Keeper, as charming and enjoyable. “After filming Carter, I had to decide on my next project and was looking for a character who was friendly and relatable. Then I read the script and became fascinated by how the characters in the show tried to retrieve cultural assets. I loved how the heavy, unfamiliar themes were explored through the comedy genre,” he shared.
He also discussed his character, stating, “Hwang Dae Myung sometimes behaves childishly. So, when he recovers cultural assets as Skunk, he sees it as a heroic act of play. Even when he punishes a group of villains, he tends to be very mischievous.”
When asked about his emotions when taking on a new acting challenge, he replied, “I feel excited. I rarely feel nervous or anxious before filming. I usually feel excited first, and then feel that it will be a fun project, which makes me giddy.”
