Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In are expanding their family.
Lee Seung Gi’s agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment, confirmed the joyful news on February 12th.
“Lee Da In is currently five months pregnant,” the agency stated. “The couple is prioritizing the health and stability of the mother and is focusing on prenatal care.”
This happy announcement comes almost exactly two years after the birth of their first daughter in February 2024. The couple went public with their relationship in May 2021 and tied the knot in April 2023. They are now set to become a family of four.
Lee Da In recently shared glimpses of their family life on social media, posting photos of a pink-themed home party complete with balloons and dolls to celebrate their daughter’s second birthday.
Lee Seung Gi has been vocal about his love for family life. During an appearance on the SBS variety show My Little Old Boy last December, he opened up about raising his then 21-month-old daughter.
“My wife and I take turns taking her to and from daycare, and it makes me so happy,” he shared. When asked about the challenges of parenting, he was honest but sentimental. “Of course, it’s hard. There are more difficult moments than easy ones. But the impact of happiness is incomparable.”
He also strongly endorsed marriage, recommending it “100 percent.”
“I think there are many more advantages after getting married,” he explained. “Personally, I’ve become much more stable. I have a happy family, a wife who is completely on my side, and a truly beautiful baby. Life has become simpler, which I think is a good thing.”
