Kim Goeun, a breakout contestant on newly premiered Netflix reality show Single’s Inferno 5, is instantly drawing attention for her stunning visuals and surprising past connections.
The show, which premiered on January 20th, introduced Kim as a confident and charming new female cast member. “I may look cat-like, but I have a dog-like personality,” she told viewers. “I might seem a bit sharp at first, but once you get to know me, you’ll find I’m actually really charming and warm-hearted.”
Kim also expressed pride in her looks, stating, “Among my features, my eyes, nose, and mouth are all pretty… I like my nose the most.”
She was candid about her reasons for joining the show. “I’ve continuously been in relationships, and I’m not used to the current void,” she confessed. “If I meet someone on Single’s Inferno who can shoot an arrow into my heart, I want to eliminate this emptiness.”
Fans quickly discovered that Kim Goeun is no stranger to the spotlight. She is the daughter of former national football player Kim Hyun Soo and was crowned the 3rd place at the 66th Miss Korea pageant in 2022.
However, she is perhaps best known for her high-profile dating rumors. In 2024, she was linked to K-pop legend G-Dragon of BIGBANG. The rumors ignited after they were spotted watching a PSG soccer match together in Osaka in July 2023, along with several social media posts from similar locations.
At the time, G-Dragon’s agency denied the relationship, stating, “She is merely a close acquaintance with overlapping mutual friends.”
Single’s Inferno is currently streaming on Netflix.
