BTS’s Jungkook has been officially tapped as a global ambassador for Chanel Beauty, even as dating rumors with aespa’s Winter continue to fuel heated reactions from fans.
On the 11th, Chanel Beauty announced, “We’re thrilled to welcome Jungkook as our global ambassador for fragrance and beauty,” sharing a striking black-and-white campaign photo highlighting his sculpted look and effortless charisma.
The ambassadorship lands amid ongoing speculation that Jungkook and Winter may be dating—sparked by alleged matching tattoos, similar outfits, and overlapping accessories. While some fans voiced frustration, his appointment to one of the biggest luxury brands shows his star power remains untouched.
Jungkook said, “I’m truly happy to join Chanel Beauty. The brand respects its iconic identity while always evolving. As someone who constantly challenges myself while keeping my own color, this partnership feels special.”
Still, tensions among fans escalated. On the 10th, protest trucks appeared outside HYBE’s Yongsan headquarters with messages like: “Erase the couple tattoo or step back from BTS,” “This is what fans get after waiting through military service?” and “Stop misleading fans and hurting the team.”

The next day, some Winter fans held their own truck protest, demanding: “Erase the tattoo and explain yourself,” and “If you want to flaunt your relationship, live as Kim Min Jeong, not aespa’s Winter.”
Neither agency has issued a stance on the dating rumors, prompting some fans to argue that “silence is acknowledgment.”
Meanwhile, Winter’s agency SM Entertainment announced it is pursuing legal action against defamatory and malicious posts, including sexually harassing content and repeated spread of false information.
