tvN has unveiled the first character and group posters for its upcoming Monday–Tuesday drama Nice to Not Meet You, premiering in November. The series stars Lee Jung Jae, Lim Ji Yeon, Kim Ji Hoon and Seo Ji Hye in what promises to be a sharp, comedic take on the entertainment world.

The drama centers on a battle of wits between a top actor who’s lost his way and an entertainment journalist determined to expose the truth. The series is directed by Kim Ga Ram (Good Partner, Nevertheless) and written by Jung Yeo Rang (Doctor Cha), raising expectations for a bold new project.

Lee Jung Jae plays Im Hyun Joon, a top actor who rose to fame as the star of the hit “Good Cop Kang Pil Gu” franchise. His latest poster shows him holding a pair of handcuffs with the caption: “You don’t fix people. But me? I fix them.”

But in the group poster, Hyun Joon is seen in sunglasses, trying to hide in front of a giant billboard of Kang Pil Gu, declaring, “I’m not Kang Pil Gu. I don’t know him,” as he scrambles to break free of the role that made him a household name.

Joining him are Lim Ji Yeon as Wi Jung Shin, a former political desk ace who’s suddenly reassigned to entertainment reporting; Kim Ji Hoon as Lee Jae Hyung, a former baseball player turned sports agency CEO whose life changes when he meets Jung Shin; and Seo Ji Hye as Yoon Hwa Young, Jae Hyung’s ex and the youngest-ever entertainment desk chief, a sharp-tongued yet charismatic figure who can take down Jung Shin with words alone.

Nice to Not Meet You looks poised to deliver both laughs and pointed commentary when it premieres this November on tvN.
