Park Si Hoo is at the center of a new controversy after an influencer publicly accused him of helping her now ex-husband cheat on her for years, claiming the actor played a “significant role” in her family’s breakdown.
On August 5th, the influencer took to social media to claim that Park Si Hoo had been introducing other women to her ex-husband since 2020. “Park Si Hoo, you used to call me ‘sister-in-law’ when my family lived in UN Village, but then you started introducing women to my ex-husband,” she wrote.
As proof, she uploaded screenshots of text messages allegedly exchanged between her husband and Park Si Hoo. In one exchange from May 2021, an individual believed to be Park Si Hoo sends a woman’s bank account number. She also shared a screen-recorded video of more recent KakaoTalk chats, which she claims show Park Si Hoo sharing another woman’s contact information. She added, “It seemed like the three of them were even going to have a three-way thing.”
In her posts, she directly tagged Park Si Hoo’s account, writing with fury, “You should have known when to stop. You provided women to my child’s father… Are you just going to keep your job as a TikTok host? I have call recordings too. You said you have a drama releasing soon, right? Congratulations, I have some gifts for you! Go ahead and sue me; I’ve lost my child and have nothing more to lose.”
This new scandal has also brought Park Si Hoo’s controversial past back into the spotlight. In 2013, he was accused of sexual assault by an aspiring entertainer. Park denied the allegations and was eventually indicted by prosecutors, but the case was abruptly closed when the accuser withdrew her lawsuit.
Amid the growing fallout from these new claims, Park Si Hoo has not issued a formal statement. Instead, he held a live broadcast on his TikTok channel on the same night the accusations surfaced and continued to reply to fan comments into the morning of August 6th.
Park Si Hoo recently appeared on the reality show With My Dad and is awaiting the release of the drama The Mentalist, which finished filming in 2021.
