Taeil, who was removed from NCT due to sexual crime allegations, was recently spotted in public ahead of his upcoming trial.
A post titled “I saw Moon Taeil recently. He’s out drinking ahead of his first trial” was uploaded to an online community platform, X, on April 21st. The post included two photos. In the photos, a man believed to be Taeil is seen dining with one other man and a woman.
The original poster added, “My friend happened to see him while eating. Someone next to him asked not to take pictures, saying Taeil is going through a tough time.” The original tweet is no longer available, but other users have shared it on Twitter, claiming it shows Moon Taeil’s recent whereabouts.

Previously, Taeil was removed from NCT after being accused of aggravated quasi-rape in August of last year. He has since been under police investigation for the case. At the time, SM Entertainment stated, “While we were checking the facts, we recognized the severity of the matter and determined that he could no longer continue with team activities,” delivering a major shock to fans.
Taeil and two others have been charged with violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, and their first court hearing is scheduled for May 12th.
