AKMU’s Lee Chan Hyuk Reportedly in Relationship With Ha Jisoo

AKMU’s Lee Chan Hyuk and actress Ha Jisoo are reportedly in a relationship.

Ten Asia revealed on October 23rd that the two stars have been dating for over a year, with industry insiders sharing that they have been spending time together in public for quite some time.

Lee Chan Hyuk and Ha Jisoo first met while working on Umbrella, an album released by Lee Chan Hyuk’s project group, Lee Chan Hyuk Video, in June 2023. The album features 12 remake songs arranged by Lee Chan Hyuk, including collaborations with artists like Yim Si Wan, Go Ah Sung, Jang Yoon Ju, Shin Bong Sun, ITZY’s Chaeryeong and Chang Kiha.

Ha Jisoo played the female lead in the music video for one of the album’s double title tracks, “Dance,” where she worked closely with Lee Chan Hyuk. In the video, the two are seen running through open fields and dancing together, portraying a carefree and youthful romance. Their on-screen chemistry reportedly turned into a real-life relationship after filming.

Before this, Lee Chan Hyuk was linked to former fromis_9 member Lee Sae Rom, with reports of their relationship surfacing in 2022. However, reports about Lee Chan Hyuk and Ha Jisoo’s relationship emerged just two days after news of their breakup became public. Given the timeline, some have speculated that their romance might have started shortly after his previous relationship ended, with others suggesting it could have been a rebound.
