Sing Again Season 4 star Kim Yoon Seol has passed away.
Music industry sources said on June 9 that Kim Yoon Seol passed away on June 7th. The cause of death has not been disclosed. She was 28 years old.
Her funeral was held at the funeral hall where her wake was set up, and she was laid to rest at Seongnam Eternal Rest Park.
The news of her passing was first shared by Kim Jae Kook, vocalist of the band TA-Copy. He posted a message on his channel announcing her death.
Kim Jae Kook wrote, “Kim Yoon Seol, who appeared with me as singer No. 6 on Sing Again 4, has gone to heaven. I offer my deepest condolences.”
The sudden news has shocked not only viewers of Sing Again 4 but also fans. Many have been leaving messages of mourning on her final social media posts.
Kim Yoon Seol appeared on JTBC’s Sing Again 4, which concluded in January. At the time, she revealed that she had won The Voice Kids Korea in 2013 and advanced through the audition round with her performance of KISS OF LIFE’s “Bad News.”
She originally debuted in 2013 with the single “Man and Woman” and later released songs such as “Finally Good-Bye,” continuing her career as a singer.
